A pool covered in winter reopens sooner, with less work.
A pool left uncovered from October to March collects leaves, soil and rain. In spring that means more cleaning, more chemicals and a longer wait before you can swim. A well-fitted cover keeps out debris and blocks the light, so the water keeps better until reopening.

Winter cover with water tubes
The most common choice for seasonal closing. The cover spans the whole pool and is held in place by water-filled tubes around the edge, with no fixed anchors in the coping. Made to measure; fitted by us at closing, or supplied ready to lay.
Best for: closing the pool in autumn and reopening in spring.
Automatic slatted cover
Opens and closes at the touch of a button in a few minutes. Close it in the evening or when the pool isn't in use, and leave it closed in winter. Fits new and existing pools.
Best for: opening and closing the pool every day without effort.
Thermal slatted cover
A slatted cover with slats designed to help keep the water warm. Especially useful for heated pools or a longer season. We give you the chosen model's specifications in the quote.
Best for: pools with a heat pump and swimming earlier and later in the year.

Cover and winter closing together
If you also book the seasonal closing with us, we do everything in one visit: winterising the equipment, frost protection and fitting the cover. In spring we come back to reopen the pool.

Can an automatic cover be fitted to an existing pool?
Yes, in most cases. It depends on the pool shape and coping: we check during the free site visit.
Can the winter cover be reused?
Yes, if it is cleaned, dried and stored properly at the end of winter. We explain how on delivery.
Can I buy just the cover, without installation?
Yes, we supply the made-to-measure winter cover on its own. For slatted covers we always recommend our installation.
Do you fit covers to pools you didn't build?
